Robert J. Keach of Bernstein Shur (Portland, Maine), a former ABI President and co-chair of the ABI Commission to Study the Reform of Chapter 11, testified on ABI's behalf at the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Commercial and Administrative Law's hearing on June 25 titled "Oversight of Bankruptcy Law and Legislative Proposals." Keach testified in support of a number of important bankruptcy bills, including the Small Business Reorganization Act and the Family Farmer Relief Act. Watch his opening statement:
